8 feet is absolutely ridiculous. Puts sheds almost in the middle of some people's backyards! Nobody else has that large of a standoff from the property line, so what could possibly be the legitimate reason for it in Papillion?

Getting a shed soon and agree that 8 feet from the back is not visually appealing or conducive to most of the yards in our area.

I would like to hear what their justification is for it, but I doubt it will be a good one. "That's how is always been" has never been an acceptable answer for me.

I don't have a shed put in yet because I don't want it in the middle of my yard. Hoping the codes will change so I can still have a yard after my shed is installed.

Codes should exist to protect the public, not infringe on personal property.
