The school administration finally agreed to switch all assignment submissions to our digital portal. Seeing the hallways clear of wasted paper makes me so proud of what we achieved together. We will keep checking the bins to ensure this new habit stays for good.

The eighth grade robotics team believes that our school should lower its consumption rate of paper. We, as a school and community, have the technology, such as computers, to limit our paper consumption, yet paper is consistently and unnecessarily used.

I have been hearing from classmates about the stacks of handouts piling up in their lockers despite having all our assignments online. It is clear that we are not the only ones frustrated by the waste occurring in these hallways every single day.

Seeing so many of you join this effort has completely changed the way I look at the recycling bins in our hallways. It is heartening to realize that our robotics team is not alone in wanting to protect our resources.

I want to save the trees! We as this generation can find a way to make paper a different way. Like the Egyptians did, we can make paper out of like papyrus and stuff like that!
Yes we should be aware about how much paper we are consuming. Like on one day everybody brings their lunch box.
I am also like-minded....from Bank statements to the news to journals or articles to homework to work memos...everyone needs to pitch in
I will say that I try a lot harder to be mindful of paper and printing. Wish the retail stores would stop overpacking items with packaging.
Just think about all the times where you had to print a paper out at school on the day it was due, but the printer doesn't work. Wouldn't it be easier over Google Docs?? 1) it would save paper, and 2) you won't fail your essay. Seems like a win-win situation here...
