That is really sad that Papa Duke didn't get a medal I think he deserved 500000000000 for that and taking out 2 machine gun nests by himself and carrying out 3 men 3 times and not getting 1 medal for it.

This Hero deserves The Medal of Honor, along with all the other Heroes who go unrecognized, from the Police and Firemen who are everyday Heroes, too the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces and see any kind of combat. They are all risking their lives so we can enjoy ours..... Thank You All,,and GIVE PAPA DUKE HIS METAL!!! USA!!!!!!!!

Too many of our past vets have not been awarded their just dues for what they went through during their time serving our country. Papa Duke is over due for his honor.
