I support Papa Duke. I am a veteran and give my full support that he be considered for recognition of his actions and sacrifice during WWII. Who is more deserving than a Native American who gave all to serve this country. My Dad served in WWII as a member of the 101st Airborne and his brother Jake served in the Philippines where he gave the ultimate sacrifice. This mans actions for his country and his brothers should not go unnoticed.

This gentleman so eager to serve. & protect his country leaving his own benefit of high school & all his astute heroics during ww2 should be awarded the Medal of Honor for his exemplary commitment to keep us free of harm . God bless him , his family , friends. & loving supporters . Hurrah !

Duke is a man our community should have known a long time ago. Being the humble person that he is, I am glad to see him get the recognition he earned.

Duke is my Dad and it will make a old man very happy to know that his sacrifices he made for his country would finally be recognized.
He is now 90 years old and still stands tall. He is a man with no fear of what the world holds for him.
I am proud to be his son and he has taught me what it truly means to Stand like A Man. I have passed this lesson onto my Son, who Stands Tall as he travels life's tribulations.

At this time in our history it is clear that we need to focus on our hero's wether it was yesteryear on todays front lines.
For those good congress men that want to do something for veterans, here's a good place to start.
