Cpl. Loren Duke Abdalla "The Indian" passed away on Dec. 4, 2016. Thank You Everyone for Supporting his Service during WWII. This petition is no longer necessary as all of his info has been submitted to the correct offices in Congress for consideration of the CMOH. TeamDuke has succeeded in this mission, and Unending Thank You's to Everyone!!! Rest in Peace Grandpa Duke!!!

Please consider Duke Abdalla for this award- I would not be alive today if not for his actions to save my grandfather in Japan. My grandfather was hit with a fire gun and would have died if not for the actions on Duke Abdalla who carried him out of harm and to rescue.

Papa Duke put his life in danger to keep the American troops safe and played a major role in winning the war. He deserves recognition for his patriotism. As we a people who give because it is the right thing to do, and in return it is the right thing for the American government to do.

I had the honor and privilege of recently sharing lunch with Duke. He is, no doubt, an absolutely incredible spirit and American treasure.
