I live in Stratford right across the street. Please bring them back soon. My son is 11. He and his friends go play on the weekends. They need somewhere to play.

I agree the courts should be brought back right now. I also find it annoying that Monica has to pick up water bottles and other garbage every day from the courts when there are garbage cans right there. How hard can it be to put the trash in the cans and not expect someone else to do it!!!!

As a homeowner and HOA payer, taxpayer and CDD payer I'm bothered with the slow progress of returning the basketball goals for which are part of the amenities we pay for. This reduces activities for our community and kids.

My family and I have lived in PT for just over a year, now. Before, we purchased our home we were sold on the wonderful amenities that are here and it upsets me and my family a great deal that these amenities are no longer available to be used.

So let me get this straight a few people are speaking for the majority, especially when the majority are paying for it. How do they know who is and who arent residents. I've lived in Panther Trace for 7 years and have used the courts. Never have I seen an issue like this. If you want put a fence around the area and have residents scan a badge like they do for the pool but don't penalize the kids for having fun right before summer starts.

I too bought my house a year ago thinking what a great community space and how lucky my child is to have such facilities that he can grow into, but so far they have blocked swim lessons and I got charged for what should have been a free ID card for the pool, and I lost the conservation area behind my house to a dust bowl that will be another neighborhood and now they took away a community creating piece of equipment. Who cares if outsiders are using our hoops as long as everyone gets a turn, they become a positive part of Riverview instead of bored overweight children who find something illegal to occupy their time. I loved seeing people enjoy themselves on my way home and hoped my son would be out there soon.

My family & I just purchased a home in the Panther Trace Phase I subdivision this past Febuary. One of the things that sold us on buying in this community, were the outdoor amenities (i.e. Basketball, tennis courts, pools, playgrounds, baseball and open grassy areas, etc.) Seeing single adults exercising, families playing together and kids both young & old enjoying themselves playing outside were some of the things that help sell us on buying here. Our teenage boys met many new friends while playing at the basketball courts. It was their place to hangout. They were constantly there exercising, enjoying themselves and our new community. Until the decision to remove the goals. Now they're always saying they're bored and have nothing to do. I strongly recommend we change our approach to how we handle problems in "our" community. I don't want to feel regret from purchasing a home in a community where it appears a few can make decisions that impact the majority. If there is a problem let's gather together and collectively reach an amicable decision. That addresses the concerns without deminishing the value and appeal of the community. In fact the notification of the basketball goals being taken down came very abruptly and none of my family members had heard mention of any problems at the courts. Let's not "throw the baby out with the bath water." Let's bring the basketball goals back!!

Taking away the basketball hoops from all the families and kids who deserve and enjoy these amenities is shameful!

Hoops need to be returned right away-if there are other issues, they should be dealt with properly, not by depriving residents of use of a facility.as an excuse.

I do not believe removing the basketball courts Will solve your issue of non residents coming in.

I really miss seeing everyone outside enjoying the basketball courts...if you take that away then they may find less productive things to do work their time

Bring the rims/backboards back! They are a positive thing in our community...no need to take them away for so long!
