Pantera deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Museum. They are now eligible for induction. Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, Vinnie Paul Abbott & Rex Brown are more than deserving of this honor for their many contributions to the music world, especially American Heavy Metal or Groove Metal as some would call it. From their early formation as a glam metal band in 1983 from Arlington, Texas, to their unfortunate disbandment in 2003, Pantera was a mainstay in the heavy metal world culminating with their album "Far Beyond Driven" debuting at #1 on the U.S Billboard 200 and staying on the chart for 29 weeks. Pioneers of the NWOAHM (New Wave of American Heavy Metal) they have influenced such bands as Lamb of God, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold and more as they continue to influence bands around the word today. With all their accomplishments and success in the music industry it only is right they they belong in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
