The bridge is ill-advised. It will not solve but shift traffic to 87 Avenue which ends at 141 street. A huge mess of backed up traffic will result at that intersection.

It is critical that the bridge is not built. I live in the neighborhood just north of the proposed bridge that will be directly and adversely affected by its construction and the traffic it will bring to our quiet neighborhood. There are many families with young children and virtually no sidewalks on our street or nearby streets. Cars racing through WILL lead to fatalities. Ruining our neighborhood so others can save literally 1-2 minutes on their commute (plus the multi-million dollar price of the bridge) is not a safe, fiscally responsible, or logical solution to the traffic problem.
