Building this bridge, will totally change then nature (not for the better) of Palmetto Bay from 144 Street to 163 Street. Please consider the permanent and negative impact this decision could have on our neighborhood to relieve 5 minutes off of the morning commute. Please use the same logic you used when you decided to cancel the Kendall Parkway.

The commissioners should work on solutions to ease traffic by getting people out of their cars and onto to public transportation. This bridge will only increase traffic and provide unnecessary resistance to public transportation. In addition it is a waste of taxpayers money. Why spend millions on a bridge when it has already been determined that the new busway going into South Dade will provide the necessary relief. To Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins please stop the politics your proposed bridge will greatly effect our neighborhoods. Our community is committed to maintaining our peaceful neighborhoods and will not tolerate any politician who has demonstrated a lack of concern.

Strong oppose the bridge. The bridge will NOT solve the issue, only brings the congestion from one point to another. Please try to find a real solution.

The willingness to destroy 50-year old neighborhoods to allow traffic to reach newer ones built further from the city core invites blight and should discourage anybody from ever investing in the Miami-Dade area. Good government should focus on accomplishing just the opposite.

Without agreeing or disagreeing with everything this petition says, I am strongly against bridges or other accommodations increasing traffic though Palmetto Bay.

Proposed bridges will not relieve traffic since they are proposed roads that are physically/geographically blocked both north & south!

The bridge will only "kick the can" another mile down the road.

I am against the bridge as a long time resident on 161 street. Help parents get their kids to school with the little jitney buses . Bring back the Ibus parking at St Richard’s. Don’t bring new traffic into Palmetto Bay.

Protect our neighborhoods, don't ruin them. Help us, don't hurt us. Our roads were not designed for the traffic you would allow. It will result in disaster for the economy and possibly the life of a walker, jogger, bicyclist and child.

My community is overly concerned about the traffic implications these works. We are a family based community with kids playing on our front yards. We already have rapid traffic with excessive risk of running over our children. Please don't make this worst

The proposed building of this bridge will solve absolutely nothing. It will destroy a beautiful and safe neighborhood. It is an ill-conceived idea.

Miami-Dade had made a lot of $$$ on all the rampant over development that they allowed down south. Their greed and short sightedness caused this traffic back up. This problem should not be the burden of Palmetto Bay. Try another solution Miami-Dade.

No to the bridge in Palmetto Bay. Expand the Metrorail south!
