This will degrade quality of life and the beautiful peaceful setting of Palmetto Bay and lower property values that have seen a healthy increase in a very decider residential area.

I am Opposed to the bridge. It takes traffics that agreed is a problem and dumps it to become palmetto bays problem.

I wrote an email and left a voicemail. Politics at its worse. All but 2 commissioners were for the bridge. Only after the other 58 bridge sites around the county were taken off this particular TPO agenda. Sounds like the commissioners voted for the bridge as long as it did not involve the area they represent. Nonsense. And the fact the agenda item was brought to the commission under an Emergency meeting under “Covid” is unacceptable but typical in politics. Again, unacceptable.

The 87 ave bridge will stop at 141st so this is not a thru street. It goes to a dead end. This will not solve a traffic issue.

Having a functioning mass transit system is the issue that needs addressing. This bridge is a divisive destraction that has little hope of lessening the fundamental problem.
