Miami Dade County is making you pay for it as prompted by the Board of County Commissioners, specifically Danielle Cohen Higgins.

It is a bridge to nowhere. 152 already backs up to 87th Ave. where are they going to go? I can’t believe Palmetto Bay is going to make me pay for something that is going to destroy my neighborhood. I wish I hadn’t moved here.

Bridge is an unnecessary expense and will not help the area or the neighborhood. Traffic is already a nightmare.

Dear Mayor and Commissioner - we need you to protect our neighborhoods not degrade them. You were elected because that's what you told us - try and keep your word.

The bridge will not solve the traffic issue. Use the busway in set directions by time.

I live next to the bridge and my girls who are 10 and 13 run with me around the neighborhood that is currently completely quiet and safe as well as we ride bike. This bridge will create more chaos than it will a traffic solution. All these politicians need to stop making these BAD DECISIONS based on MONEY and think about the people and their families. We pay a ton of money on taxes and insurance in this particular neighborhood and I find it absurd and disrespectful to even think that this will make an impact on the current traffic that this entire city has. If highways are not making a difference on are traffic what makes you think a two-lane additional road is going to do??? The problem here are not the roads, the problem here is the POPULATION PERIOD! On another note, those stupid round abouts create more traffic and frustration. People can't move when there is bumper to bumper because you're stuck on the roundabout. Whoever is making these decisions has NO COMMON sense. You need to FIRE that person and get someone that knows what 2+2 is!

To move forward with a 10M+ construction project without required traffic studies and inclusion of alternatives to address community concerns is unacceptable.

This bridge will destroy our neighborhood by flooding streets without sidewalks with traffic, and endangering children, while accomplishing NOTHING to actually resolve the overall traffic problem. An enormous waste of taxpayer money, voted in as a "political bandaid" by corrupt and incompetent local politicians

I hope someday the Miami Dade traffic problem will be solved. One solution is to build an limited access overpass along the US-1 corridor north from downtown area south to Homestead area. That would ease the traffic problems throughout South Miami Dade. Ruining a beautiful neighborhood and wasting tax payers money is only a poor band-aid for a much bigger problem. The homeowners who bought into this peaceful and beautiful neighborhood did so with the expectation that it would be a great place to live and raise their children. They have a "right" to keep it that way.
