Im writing to express my complete objection on the removal of tree and construction of bridge. We are residents who care about our community and tree canopy.

This bridge will not solve or make traffic better in the long run - we must find a better solution for this problem

The bridge is nothing but a propaganda event. The cost is ridiculous, the affects on the neighbors is nothing but a negative, will increase crime on both sides of the canal, will creat more gridlock through the residential streets of Palmetto Bay on both sides of the canal, and will hurt property value on both sides of the canal. This is a complete waste of our tax dollars.

Stop destroying our communities with overbuilding and unproven traffic solutions as a result of it!

Stop the bridge, it will distort our peaceful neighborhood, solution to traffic problems is not opening traffic gates through neighborhoods. Someone needs to think of better road solutions e.g. and overhead pass on US1. Find better solutions and not shortcuts.

This is again an example of governmental overreach!!! This will not solve the traffic issue on US1 and only impact our neighborhood and our house values!!! Plies it only will facilitate cars for several block then they will have to re join US1 or Old Cutler road so why hurt us for no real gain!

This will not solve any traffic issues. Stop the bridge and get rid of Cohen Higgins who is using this bridge to benefit her home and personal matters. She’s not a good person, she needs to go!

This bridge is costly no positive traffic improvement and detrimental consequences for the community. Makes you wonder why the politicians are supporting it.

I oppose the building of the bridge on SW 87th av. It will create stand still chaotic traffic on 87th av. affecting property value and decrease the quality of life for those living north & near 87th av. Other alternatives must be consider. The bridge was passed by dirty midnight politics period ! Everyone that approved this bridge needs to be voted out.

My patio is almost unusable because the traffic before the bridge comes down to 82nd from 152 and turns and the all exhaust blows onto the patio also they come down 144 because 87 does not go that far up and get on 82 a ride to my office that used to be 12 minutes now takes 20 to 24 minutes. This is what traffic we have without the bridge with the bridge and increased traffic I will probably be poisoned with the gas fumes. The traffic pattern on 82nd can not absorb anymore traffic and opening the bridge is a bad idea since 87th does not go that far up the highway. They need to think of something else especially when they keep building south with high rises.

The bridge does not solve the traffic problems, and creates new problems for residents of the neighborhood. Additionally, the process seems like shady politics.

This bridge is going to destroy the quiet neighborhood streets through which we ride bikes and children play. Traffic problems will not be solved! The traffic still will end at US one and be congested throughout our commute on our residential streets.

This bridge will ruin an amazing walking community in Palmetto Bay and has not be shown that it would decrease traffic enough to make it worth it. Everytime it has gone to a public vote the answer was No Bridge.
