The landscape looms like hell.
This used to be beautiful here.
Are they replacing the trees they took out? What's the plan?

I am an owner here. I bought in because it was beautiful and green. I am not happy with our courtyard or the front gate area. Our courtyard looks like we live in a warzone. The front gate area does not do justice the the beauty of our complex. Who is responsible for this? People are outraged by what is happening here. My HOA dues are very high....the highest of any place we looked at. When will this be fixed and how much will it cost?

This is a sharp decline of our property's appearance in the last year. As a new homeowner, I am concerned what this will do to my property values.

I understand the need to save water, but cutting down the beautiful palm trees? We would have made a lot of extra money digging them up and selling them. They are going for top dollar because people are putting them in because they can live on less water. I would think a few of the carrot trees (the trees in the courtyard) would have been a smarter removal without ruining the beauty of the courtyards and entry way.

One of the most appealing things about our community were the beautiful trees and landscaping. It had gone downhill the last year or so (with less watering and removal of grass) and now this latest project has left the community without one of its best features. Our home in particular has lost shade on the west front door leaving it hotter every afternoon on top of the ugly eyesore of a stump right next to our front entry. I feel like you've taken away my property value with this project versus maintaining it; let alone enhancing it.

33, 34 and 35....the Board must replace our removed trees. This is appalling and we are ouraged.

This community deserves a professionally designed landscape. As it had before the bushes, grass, and trees were removed.
Leaving stumps of old growth trees and bare dirt, while removing and changing cohesive landscape design elements will reduce our home values.
As of 10/4/19 there are no professionally designed plans to repair the damaged courtyards or to enhance the property and it's beauty.
This is not a backyard project, this is a master planned community in southern California worth over $25,000,000. We deserve a more cohesive and planned approach with community outreach and input.
I would respectfully ask the board to stop all work until a professional landscape designer can assist with a professional redesign of the courtyards and common areas. I would request that an independent arborist assess the safety of the trees. We should not rely on the assessment by the owner of the tree removal service which is contracted for the work.

Please stop until everyone is on board with the changes. We all want the same thing, to live in a beautiful place and get along with our neighbors.

Stop killing the trees, grass, and bushes in the lower level. It looks like a tornado hit it.

Some of the trees only needed trimming. Cutting so many trees is not necessary.

This community is being destroyed...shameful and tragic. They have cut down major trees by the 16180 building...no privacy, no shade. How much more destruction do we have to endure?

I am in full agreement with item 1, and hope the Board meeting on October 16 is well attended, but I am not ready to call for the removal of the current Board members and the election of a new members. I would like to think the current Board members will be open to slowing things down so that other viable options can be considered before any more cutting down of trees is done.

I agree with an immediate stop work for all tree and shrubbery removal till the management has a clear plan in place that tenants agree on.

I agree. I don't feel as though my interests are being protected or even represented by this board. On the contrary, they focus on the wrong things while letting important matters slide.
