We are often faced with terminally ill children who's parents are unable to care for them at home. These children inevitably get put in a cubicle at the back of the ward receiving minimal attention as they are 'terminal' and not for further intervention. A dedicated home for palliative care children would allow the children to die in dignity and provide the families with the necessary support and preparation required to try and help them deal with losing a child.

It's unthinkable that this cannot happen. Good luck.

Worthy project

I fully support this initiative. The need is there, the venue ideally close to the Red Cross War Memorial Childrens' Hospital and it is in a peaceful setting.
