The purpose of this petition is to show our state representatives that their constituents want a law to be passed outlawing the use of handheld cell phones and text messaging while driving. This is in effort to avoid more tragedies such as happened to the Good family on May 18th 2008 on the drive home from Jacy's college graduation.

This petition is being run by Jacy Good, who's parents were killed and who the doctors gave a 10% chance of surviving after a tractor trailer hit her family's car while swerving to avoid a young man who ran a red light while talking on his cell phone.
