Due to the constant rise in gas prices, Ozark, AL residents are getting beyond fed up. It is time for the Ozark City Council and the Dale County Commission to come together to either repeal the gas taxes that have been enacted in recent years or come up with some way to keep gas prices both balanced and competitive with cities like Troy and Dothan. We are not a major metropolis, we are not a tourist attraction, we do not have the industry or other jobs that pay well enough that current gas prices will be sustainable for Ozark residents. Currently, I and many others who live in Ozark would rather drive 20-45 minutes to go to Dothan or Troy for lower gas prices. If the gas prices don't balance, Ozark and Dale county will both see a loss of revenue due to more people taking the approach of going to other cities and counties where gas is cheaper in these trying times. Enough is enough!

The feedback I keep hearing is that residents are already driving to Dothan or Troy just to fill up their tanks. Call your City Council representatives today and demand they address these tax rates before our local economy suffers any further.

Gas keeps going up but my paycheck stays the same. Something has to give around here because i cant keep affording to drive to dothan just to save a few bucks.
Price gouging running rapid comparisons in dothan and troy so much cheaper up to 40 cents
Tired of going to Troy or Dothan and seeing that they pay much less on gas then we do
They are taking our taxes for road improvements but I dont see any. Campground has been patches numerous times but I see even more potholes after this last rain.
The gas is always higher in ozark this BS as to everywhere else is cheaper......
Lower gas prices in ozark or we will shop elsewhere
