We love the parade our kids love it's a good thing for the community so why stop it

This tradition was brought back when I was in Elementary school and we loved it!!! I believe that each child should be able to experience this tradition as well as family should be able to see their children participate and celebrate with them...

everyone looks forward to the parade every year, our community only has two things to look forward too and that is Daniel Boone days and the Parade please don't change this.. don't take away from the lil ones they all love it as much as we do seeing them.

This was a tradition when I was born, and before 1967.....then it was taken away....finally brought it back after many years of the fair not being associated with the school. Traditions is a thing this county lacks, this is the only thing for the children that is even close to tradition, we’ve lost so much already in this community, there is nothing holding it together....why take the one thing away that brings people together to support our children?

They took God , they take family, they take traditions , they take everything . People in small towns look forward to these events . A lot of family come in , just to attend . The people in this county want their parade !!!!!

I see no reason to take nothing in our small community that involves our kids. This is not only a tradition but this is the only thing in this town that the whole town and our school gets involved in.
