Overcharged Electricity bills in BCM

This is sooo unfair. My mom is a pensioner but municipality came with the account of R45 000 and she must go to those long queues with the covid risk.. This is unfair

I sign this petition because of high electrical bills/municipal rates. It is so rediculous paying so much money and still we do not see any improvements and electricity goes without any notification and that we'll stay 3 to 4 days without electeicity and they will tell us its because of izinyoka while we are paying these high rates and electricity units have been reduced as well... why our own municipality is doing this to us. Overcharging of electricity which a Judicial Commission of Enquiry must be established to investigate this.

Municipality is overcharging,we dont even get monthlystatement,every month rates are high and when query you dont get any answers

This is bad what is done by BCM. I paid my rates about R700 on the 14th January 2021, the on the following week the electricity is blocked. Community is under stressed of the pandemic, families are dying because of Covid19. Our government doesn't care about what is happening. Our municipality must stop what they are doing is not fair at all.
