Mrs. Ireland was an amazing internship director and was always there when you needed her. Amidst her busy life she always found the time to stop and ask how everything was going and listen to any concerns or questions I had and offered helpful advice and guidance. There's nobody else that is more deserving of this award.

Erika Ireland is one of the most incredible educators I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Throughout the years, I have watched her passion for teaching push her to go above and beyond again and again to ensure that her students are successful. She has provided so much support and guidance for me as one of her previous students, and I am so thankful to her for preparing me so well to succeed in my career. Erika Ireland is the type of educator that you never forget. I certainly will always be grateful for the positive impact she has had on my life and the lives of my fellow students.

In the academic world of dietetics, Professor Ireland provides a breath of fresh air, hope and a constant reminder for us to remain resilient. She pushes and encourages all her students to achieve, but most importantly she believes in each and every one of them. She is an amazing professor! I love her teaching as she pushes me towards studying and going beyond the textbook. You know that she is here for her students, to pass on her knowledge to the best of her ability. You can see her passion for nutrition which constantly reinforces my decision to be an RD. She is one of my favorite professors at Fresno State and I can only hope I get her in many future courses. She undoubtedly deserves this award as she not only has an amazing amount of knowledge and professionalism, but she is s genuine, caring individual and an inspiration in her community as well.

Prof.Ireland, is a great and passionate professor. She loves the subject she teaches and wants to help as many students understand the importance of healthy eating. She has influenced me to eat well, as I have started to cut out a lot of junk food out of my life and started making healthier choices. I definitely think Prof. Ireland should be chosen for the outstanding educator award!
