Professor Ireland is an inspiration to us all. She is passionate of nutrition and loves to educate. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help out her students. I am grateful to have her as an instructor and look forward to taking classes with her in the future.

Professor Ireland is such an amazing educator. She is always engaged with her students and encourages her students to be engaged with the class as well. She is always so positive and makes the her class a great experience. She also motivates and encourages her students to think critically and really understand things in different perspectives. She is one of the greatest professors I have been fortunate to have!!

I've known Dr. Ireland ever since i started attending Fresno State. I had her for Nutrition 54 and currently taking Nutrition 160 with her. I enjoy her teaching style because she doesn't only make class interesting but also makes sure we learn the material. Dr. Ireland always has time to answer our questions in and outside of class. Overall, i think she is an amazing person/Instructor and takes her job very seriously.

This is my first ever class with Prof. Ireland, and I am already excited to be in her other classes in the future. She is a very caring and understanding professor, that wants nothing but for her students to succeed in their studies and also in the society. She is constantly reminding us that we have to think outside of the box and be able to apply our critical thinking to situations. She is more than just a professor. She is truly a teacher.

Mrs Ireland is one of the best instructors I have had in my college career. She was one of two professors that turned me on to the field of Dietetics. She is an amazing educator and I am glad that I had the chance to meet her. She is always available to give me encouragement when I need it. If anyone deserves this award it is her.

Professor Ireland is one amazing woman. I feel extremely honored to have her in my life. She goes above and beyond for her students. If she knows that one of her students is struggling, she takes the extra time to work one and one and makes sure that everyone is successful. Professor Ireland has been someone who I really look up to. She has an extremely kind heart and is a very genuine person. She has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. She deserves all the happiness in the world. She is most deserving of this award!

Mrs. Erika Ireland has been more then a professor for me. She has been an invaluable mentor, wealth of knowledge, and she has helped me through every step of my journey to becoming a Registered Dietitan. Mrs. Ireland is amazingly personable and easy to talk to. I admire how hard she works, and yet still has time to give each one of her students and interns the individual attention they deserve. Mrs. Ireland has never talked down to me, and I appreciate her treating me with respect as a young professional. Mrs. Ireland deeply cares for each of her interns, and prepares them to the best of her ability for the task of becoming a RD in the Central Valley. I sincerely feel that Mrs. Ireland is the most deserving of the Outstanding Educator Award for 2016!

Mrs. Ireland is one of the most hard working dietetic internship director /professor there is. She genuinely cares about her students and dietetic interns and will go the extra mile to help them learn and solve their problems with them. I cannot express how happy and lucky I am to have this wonderful educator in my life. She has the biggest heart and love to see her students reach their dreams. She has made an impact on my life and it's been a great honor working with her.
