Canada has no treatments for Neuroendocrine patients. Doctors keep tellig patients there is nothing they can do, but there are drugs that can save their lives, approved drugs for this cancer overseas. Patients are getting refused here and the government is not appoving drugs which is killing people. People deserve a chance to live, a chance to fight. Please sign this petition to help neuroendocrine carcinoid patients get the help they so desperately need.

Updates

October 2, 2009

I am spending my days sending these signatures to health officials who still refuse to acknowledge the urgency of our situation. Please take five minutes to call your local representative and demand they look at these international treatment standards. We are not stopping until our doctors have the tools they need to save lives.

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and shows that people are finally paying attention to our fight. Take this link and text it to three friends right now to keep the pressure on our officials.

My niece was told there was nothing left to try here. She is only 30. Please let her have access to these drugs.

Ridiculous. We pay taxes for health care that lets us die because of red tape. Just let people have the medicine they need to survive.

Unbelievable. Other countries have it but we have to wait forever? The system is totally broken.
