Magazines that display scantily clad women are being displayed directly in front of where our children stand and pay for purchases at a 7-11 store. These magazines set impossible standards for our children to follow. With the airbrushing and sexually expletive poses they demean women and promote unhealthy body images for our impressionable youth. Especially when it is displayed in their faces. Move the magazines or cover them up! Please sign and help protect our youth from low self esteem, eating disorders and an unhealthy view of women.

My name is Jennifer Wills, I am a Social Service Worker who works with at-risk youth. I am also the Mother of an impressionable eight year old girl. Parents and paople who care about children need to stand up and protect them. We have ratings for movies, books, and warnings before explicit television shows, we can't stop there. The magazines have been pushing the standards of what is acceptable.
