Outdoor Lunch at Bandelier

Please have outdoor lunch. The kids mask in their classroom, but then go and unmask in the cafeteria. Please keep the kids and teachers safe.

While the weather allows, children should be eating lunch outside. This is the obvious safe option and makes more sense than the cafeteria.

Let’s take advantage of our sunshine state and have the kids eat outside! Indoor eating is only going to increase the risk for covid transmission! Why take the risk?

I hope this will be allowed during the pandemic and afterwards. Lunch outside will increase safety now and will provide healthier amounts of time outdoors in future years.

Let’s do everything we can to keep our school safe.

These kids need safe mask free time! Makes no sense that they are suffering indoors all day in uncooled buildings, unable to remove their masks at recess time, yet going into the cafeteria together and eating lunch!
