We the undersigned, petition the elected officials of The Village of Cayuga Heights to enact regulations that will restrict large commercial vehicles to Triphammer Road and Pleasant Grove Road.  Solving the problem of north south transit will reduce expensive maintenance on Village roads that were not designed for large truck and bus traffic, and will minimize noise in residential areas.  This would not, in any way, keep vehicles from using village streets to deliver goods and services to village residents.  These regulations should be in place by January 1, 2012.
