they need to bring parole back becuse you have inmates who grow up in prison and when they are free again theyknow nothing about livig outside of prison and the system throws them out to return because they know nothing else but prison life everyone deserves second chance the president gets a second chance so why not give the inmates chance in society please bring prole back

my son is serving a long sentence for a crime which no one was hurt it is morethan murders get please bring parole back he grew up in the penititary and have no knowledge of what a grown person face being free he was 19and he is now 42

People deserve a second chance at life ,to prove they can become productive citizens in society and help others not to make better choices in life . The time the courts give out is unrealistic .

They need to bring back parole because I have 2 Children out here with no father. Why should you take their whole life away from the kids. You know they are only little once. everybody makes mistakes. my kids will be 16 and 17 when their father gets out. If they would bring back parole. Their dad could have a chance at life being in kids life again. IF someone has the chance to start over again, they should. Virginia should give them another chance at life again. We only have one life. Don't make it worse.

yes! they need to bring parole back to VA. cause their are a lot of people who get to much time for drug use. plus their is people in the system who didn't rob or steal but someone else did robbing and stealing and sold the items to another person and they get a lot of time that is uncalled for in my opinion. we need parole back in Virginia and i would vote to bring parole back.

My question is are all inmates not worthy of a 2nd chance. When they committed crimes at a young age under the influence of drugs does this mean they should live the rest of their lives locked away from the world. Can they be reformed and become good citizens yes they can. Just as God gives all of us chance after chance give them another chance.

we need to bring parole back to Va. because they give to much time to the inmates. i would like to see my boyfriend released so we can be together. they really give to much time on drug charges when they need to put them in a place to get help? Cause they can get drugs in the prison systems.

Please bring bsck parole. My babys daddy deserves another chance. He needs to see his first 2 kids groe up and they need him. Please.

They should bring parole back to Va. Because there are a lot who needs to be with family and everyone needs a second chance you are not gonna get rid of drug use by locking everyone up they need help but not a lot of prison time to serve in jail or in prison system let's get started on giving second chances and releasing them soon would be great.

Totally agree that value should establishe parole in va....the good time effort is broken in various and inmates deserve a parole system

I think Virginia should bring back parole. Its not fair to the kids. I have 2 kids 5&6. Their dad got 20 years for something and he is a very sweet guy and good father and I believe he deserves a second chance. you only have one life you know. If you haven't murderd or molested anyone you deserve parole to a second chance in life. Im out here struggling no child support what so ever. I mean come on.

Virginia prison system is over crowded and we have are spending way more money to house inmates then we would if we let them earn their freedom. Give them the chance to make parole, show the state officials they can make a difference. We right now pay $25,000 a year per INMATE and me personally would enjoy my money going to the education of Virginia. This has to change...

What happened to rehabilitate? Second chances? People on drugs make stupid sometimes tragic mistakes, but they do not deserve to be punished for what seems like forever to their children.
