I swear if I have to hear one more lecture about the logistics of these mandatory busses I might actually lose my mind. People have been messaging me non stop about how much better it would be to just drive ourselves and honestly the school board is just being stubborn for no reason at all.

This is ridiculous. I paid for my own car and I should be able to drive it.
The school has no business telling us how to get to prom. Keep it optional.
SERIOUSLY WHO CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA
The busses should be an option for those who need it. It definitely should not be mandatory. What if someone isn't allowed to stay the whole time and has to leave early? What if someone isn't feeling well and wants to go home a little bit early? Forcing students to take busses to prom is more trouble than it's worth.
Should be an option for people that can't get a ride and the school can be responsible for the people that use the bus but otherwise rides should not be the schools problem

my parents are already gonna be in the area so why should i have to pay for a bus to go where they are anyway??
