Schools are not safe enough for kids not to have their phones. Shootings, drug dealing, suicide attempts, they all majority happen in school.
Adults are making the decision for children's and teen's lives yet expect us to act like adults. No it's unfair. We'll start acting like adults when you give us the freedom to be.
And for those who say "kids these days all rely on technology" well so do you. Your gps, your phone, computer, tablet, microwave. Adults are being narcissistic.

Us students should be able to have our phones in between classes or during any free time we have. As long as it's not a distraction, there's nothing wrong with it. It can help our safety, let us check up on things at home, or let our guardians know something they have to know before school ends. If you have to put your phone in a bin or cuby, that's also a way people could steal your phone.

I do not agree with the contents of this bill as it can and will limit our ability to portray free speech as we will not be able to distribute essential information across many people. It can also be a safety concern in times of emergency.
