Cmon just because of one kid dosent mean that they have to take away 8th and 7th grade's phones it should only be that one that one kid who done what started this. He should be the one who should get punished not the entire middle school.

We need out phones back. They should not punish us all when only a few kids broke the rules, they should only punish the kids who actually broke them.

We rely on our phones to let us know if we have practice or a game and if it is cancelled. Our coach does not live near the school and teaches at another school sp there is no other way. We have to contact our parents and let them know what is going on. They make an announcment that we can hardly hear and then we don't have enough time to get out bag and get on our bus. It's crazy that facility did not even consider this when making this decision. Punish the students who caused. It not the ones who are innocent.

I think it was fine with phones and I'm fine without my phone, but I feel that only certain people should be punished. Also... people have apple watches and they could communicate off of those

Do they pay the phone bill? No. No, they don't. It should be your choice when you use your phone. If they want to punish anybody. Punish the child who started this. I know some people don't like their picture taken, but hey it happens. At the end of the day they still get paid so, there should be no problem.

At my school we have very strict rules about having our phones out, but if they are in our pockets it is fine. Many teacher let you do research in class and some even let you listen to music. We are not allowed to use our phones during lunch or in the hallway, but we all are guilty of doing it. Also as many people have stated some people have very serious health issues, and some need to contact their parents/guardians If plans change for getting picked up or staying for after school activities. God forbid there be an emergency were people have to contact their parents/guardians, how are they going to complete this simple task with their phone in their locker or at home. Give these kids their phone rights back and punish the troubled kids that caused this.

Okay I'm just going to say this. There is people who have diabetes and have a thing that hooks up with there phone. I have this and I know one thing I will refuse to not have my phone over something stupid! #giveusourphonesback.

Using my phone in class not only makes it easier to access textbooks, but let's me check my grades (I don't have a computer.)
The actions of a few should not represent the majority of people who were using their phones for the right thing.

My concern is what if God forbid there is a gunman. At least someone could call 911. Being with out a phone leaves them with out contacting the OUSTSIDE. The same goes if a child is being bullied they can call a parent. Cuz I know Crestwood doesn't do anything about it.
