I've never heard as much rubbish in all my life that they were trying to close the car parking because there was no planning!! It's a Car Park already, wonder if they will close IKEA car park now they have said there was no planning.... Total idiots!!

I wouldn't be using George Best Airport if Boals weren't there as I couldn't afford to pay the price that the Airport would be charging.

Typical of this inept government. Tell the truth Mark. The people who pay your wages want to know. I have been disadvantaged big time. And I refuse to pay exorbitant high charges for parking at the airport. I have more or less boycotted it now. Funny how I always see our politicians there too.

What planet is he on when he makes a comment like this. Parking costs at the City Airport are outrageous - all they see are £ signs. A bit of competition can only be advantageous to the public.

On a ministers salary maybe. Taking away completion only gives the airport the monopoly to charge whatever they like. I know who's prices I prefer. Ridiculous plans & ridiculous statement!

It is an outrage that planing has not been granted using such a ridiculous statement saying there is no demand for this service. The minister of environment is completely wrong in his decision to close this service. This is simply bowing down to the needs and wants of belfast City airport and the minister needs to grow a set of balls and make the right decision and let boals car park serv the publics needs a wishes. disgraceful, you can't afford to park in the city airport, cheaper to get a taxi there than park.

Due to high prices at Belfast City airport I look for any alternative than to park there. Boal is a great handy alternative that I use otherwise I'll be parking in local streets and taking a taxi in - still cheaper than airport charges!

Never accept monopolies. They're bad for business, consumers and strangle economic development. Bring back Boals!
