Parks and Coles Gym serve a key role in academic and community development. NYU is already the largest or one of the largest private Universities in the US. Instead of getting bigger, invest in inftrastructure and faculy.

Also, private funding can be a helpful support for parks and green spaces, but it tends to go for the big places in the most affluent communities. Public funding is essential to maintain grren space in every borough, and in all communities.

It seems that we need to spend our lives fighting NYU for what belongs to us, the people.

Keep the green spaces on Laguardia and Mercer open. NYU has destroyed and overbuilt on too much of the Village already.

It is such a pleasure to see the sky, hear the birds and smell the flowers when I walk my dogs up La Guardia Place. There is so little of this respite from concrete, glass, steel and heavy traffic. Please save what little we have left.

please save Greenwich Village from being destroyed by NYU's blatant disregard for the character of this important community. the millons of tourists who come here each year and support our small shops and restaurants will not come if there are so many tall buildings. Dear Mayor you need to help our community and not approve NYU's destructive plan. Thank you. Georgianna Appignani
