Stop the NYU monopoly from destroying what's left of public green space!

Community gardens help make NYC livable for all.

Parks are not a commodity to be bought and sold to appease developers.

The university needs to show respect for its tenured faculty, adjunct faculty, students and neighbors.

Save all the green spaces in the city, we need these more than new buildings..

Please save the parks and expand them. There is only human traffic in NYC.

Community gardens strengthen communities

I support NYU faculty and the Village community in demanding the NYU administration work with the community at large in planning this initiative.

keep open spaces open. The quality of life is already severly impeded by ever more real estate development.

Please do not appeal the decision to save La Guardia Garden, a much need green oasis in the midst of a congested area. the people who live in NYC deserve a respite from the massive over development proposed for this already crowded area of NYC.

Hopefully it is a new era in NYC where we move beyond the Bloomberg years where community voice was rarely heard nor honored.

These proposed high-rises are out of proportion to the Village and serve only marginal "academic" needs. The attempted expropriation and destruction of public parklands is an outrage. In the absence of any rational rationale, this whole enterprise (and the blind eagerness to press ahead regardless of even a judge's orders) suggests what we are facing is the pursuit of a developer's wet-dream.

NYU the academic institution is scholarly, but "NYU, Inc." are unscholastic profiteers.

The Sexton plan will destroy Greenwich Village, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. NYU is already too big and should be reduced in size, not expanded. The sidewalks are clogged with NYU students. Every building that NYU buys is stripped of its character and turned into a characterless, bland space both inside and out. Sexton is a megalomaniac fraud. If his plan succeeds, it will be a tragedy for the city and the world.
