I am a member of LaGuardia Corner Gardens, and every time I am in the garden, people come in to enjoy the peace and quiet, admire the flowers and they always express their appreciation for this oasis. Please don't allow greed to destroy it.

Our downtown manhattan neighborhood has the least amount of parkland in NYC. These green open spaces should be cherished.

In a city, already way too far overbuilt, removal of parks and open-space, must not be even considered for developement, an d certainly not, illegally given away by the City, to private developers.

There are many ways to pay for Brooklyn Bridge Park. We DO NOT NEED CONDOS in our parks. As soon as condos were contemplated, ALL YEAR ROUND RECREATION was eliminated from this park. STOP THE CONDOS planned for pier 6 please. You know, Bill, that they are not needed!

Union Square Community Coalition is currently fighting to save the traditional use of the pavilion in hstoric Union Square Park which will become a high-end private restaurant by June unless Mayor de Blasio uses his legal right to cancel the Bloomberg-era restaurant's contract.. The pavilion in Union Square was built for "Wiomen & Children" and public use and the community used it until it was allowed to deteriorate afterr the 1975 fiscal crisis. Now that it has been beautifully renovated the prior administration gave it away as a restaurant to the highest bidder in a 15-year license. Once our public parkland and facilities are taken away for commercial use.it will never be returned for free public use.. Please call 212-532-7537 for a USCC petition to urge the Mayor to do the right thing and cancel the restaurant contract.
