NYC's parks and other open spaces are to be protected for the benefit of ALL New Yorkers -- not to be sold-off for the benefit of only the wealthy or a corporate entity. Thank you for supporting ALL New Yorkers and not just the privileged few.

Pirate-ization is in full swing: The theft of parkland for the new Yankee Stadium & a proposed shopping mall where Shea Stadium once stood, cutting down the trees in Lincoln Cneter to rent out Damrush Park, taking Brooklyn Bridge Park and Governors island out of the NYC park system while doing development off the tax roles, divide-and-conquer parks budgets that depend on conserancies that preferentially benefi wealthier neighborhoods.
