School boards action is disgraceful

I read about this in depth before signing. As a former administrator in the District, Ms. Rose is demonstrating her own poor leadership and critical thinking skills.

Don't allow the indoctrination of lies to our children and grandchildren! Teach them the truth in history. Include All Americans. Stop the hate of some students! These are children. These children are our future!!!

I'm appalled disappointed and just plain fed up with these petty politics from the right by people trying to signal their allegiance to some kind of crazy cult. Pay attention next election and replace this board and bring back reality at least for school kids even if it never comes for us adults who have to live in this country right now.

I am saddened to see the school board being used as a political arm. They were elected to serve the students if this district- it is not possible to come to a decision like this without previous discussion held in public, as per the Sunshine law.

I am a grandmother, a mother and a voter. I care about public schools and feel angry and embarrassed for Sarasota County School Board right now. They are setting a poor example for the very children they have been given the responsibility to educate!
