I believe that people should be held accountable for their actions. If behavior that hurts the county is not addressed with consequences it erodes the trust and confidence in our commissioners. What happened in Ottawa County was a precursor to what is happening in our nation. Please make Ottawa County a leader in holding our leaders accountable to the law and codes of ethics.

$1 million taxpayer dollars gone to waste when so much could be done for our county. A Disgrace to push this under the rug and do nothing.

The inaction of the board in this matter is incredibly demoralizing to the people who worked for the county during OI’s reign in addition to the citizens who watched the board waste millions.
