My name is Isaac Lister, and I have rerecorded the Oldest Football Song (On The Ball City) for fans of Norwich City Football Club. I believe that in the fourteen years I have been attending Carrow Road, the chants of OTBC have been increasingly cheapened and sped up into what these days is basically a rushed shout. I am told by those old enough to remember it that it used to be sung in the way 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is on the Kop, and that it was spine-tingling to witness. These were my reasons for trying to record a new version of the song to resonate with fans old and new, attempt to get the song sung as it was supposed to be, and get the crowd fired up on matchdays. Bold ambition though it may be, I need you to sign this petition in the hope that someone at the club will take notice and push for it to be played before the players run out at matchdays.
