Save Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula
Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula is constantly being threatened by deforestation, urbanization and hunters. This beautiful paradise with it's biodiversity is now in danger of becoming destroyed by developers to make tourist attractions and suburban areas. This rainforest is home to over 4000 plant species and hundreds of animals. If we do not take action to stop the deforestation of this rainforest, not only will thousands of species lose their habitant and potentially become extinct, but deforestation may also occur. This increases the carbon dioxide concentration in our already polluted atmosphere which can impact not only Costa Rica, but also the rest of the world. Now we need your help. Sign this petition to force the Costa Rican government to put a stop to the destruction of this wildlife haven. You can make a difference.
