I had hoped the Government will honouonouredr their commitment to grant us full OROP. That commitment has not been honoured. I deeply anguished.

During active service senior gets more salary than junior... Same way senior pensioners should get more pension than juniors. If not more. Then at least actual OROP should be implemented.....

The injustice matted out to ESM & Serving Servicemen/women is not only against the soldiers but to the Nation itself. The successive governments have remained chained in their thoughts that Defence personnel can only be kept in check through deprecation, not realising this approach is detrimental to the the very security of our Country. More so in today's world of information at fingertip of every soldier! Wake-up else we may loose the finest of the Armed Forces unbeatable moral and daredavilish acumen, for comparison leads to feelgood and self esteem and resultent PRIDE!
People in Govt of the day , you need to act and deliver in matching and similar way as the Forces act and deliver. Don't loose this opportunity to currect the wrongs of decades!

Repeated requests to implement the actual OROP have fallen on deaf ears of our PM and FM.Only hollow promises were made by the PM,with intention of betraying the ex servicemen to derive political mileage during elections

Pensions are a right in Govt service in lieu of contributory PF in pvt cos. service. If salaries go up as per market price so must pensions. Can one live in 1992 retirement pension of Rs 3500 pm in 2018 ???
Promotions in Army's steep pyramid are average 1 in 10, compared to 1 in 2 in IAS. Army Jawan retires at age approx 35 (compared to age 60 of a Civil Govt peon) & officer starting at age 50 upto 60 as per rank achieved - compared to age 60 only fixed for all Civilian Govt services !!
IAS gets next ranks pay after 2 Years of not getting a promotion. Army ????
IAS gets extra allowances for a posting in different states. Army ????
Army service rules & conditions are much much more Severe upto death sentense!!!!
Army serving & Retd people require much much more than just OROP !!!!!!

What a Govt of India? The Law Makers after Passing in Parliament Have Failed to Honor & Impliment their Own Commitment. Shame on such Law Makers.. How do by they Expect Citizens to Follow the Rules made by Parliament/ Govt. High Time to set Example. Grant OROP without Delay in National Interest in Long run. God Bless ESM.
Give us what you promised.
