With only two main roads Monroe cannot sustain the traffic a Walmart would bring. Bad idea for the people of Monroe.

Walmart will destroy many of the great small businesses in Monroe/Newtown that have managed to survive terrible economic times. These businesses care about the towns and Walmart WON'T!!!

A Stew Leonards would be great there. Wal-Mart . . . that may change our plans to stay in Trumbull (close to the Monroe border).
