The Egyptian Police, under orders from Egypt's Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF), has been using weapons provided by our government to control demonstrators calling for implementing of a civilian democratic government. These weapons include tear gas canisters rumored to be mixed with nerve gas and rubber bullets shot by snipers and targeting demonstrators' eyes, as reported on CNN and BBC. We ask our Congress and Department of Defense to order Egypt's SCAF to immediately prohibit any and all security forces in Egypt, of using these weapons or any other weapons produced or provided by the US. Our government should threaten the immediate cut off of any support or cooperation with Egypt's military. The success of Egypt's revolution is inevitable and we should align our country with the principles of freedom and democracy
