Professional Disrespect – Authoritarian Override of Parental Guidance - Shame Hypothetically, suppose there is this director of music. She is a professional in her field. She is not a medical expert. The word comes down that music is being eliminated from the school curriculum. Music is taking up room in a student’s schedule. More room is needed for science, math, maybe even elementary level business courses. The Committee claims that music contributes nothing to young minds or future jobs. These authoritarians find the word vocation meaningless. The Committee claims education is about jobs, productivity, and future economic development. The Committee knows nothing about the value of music. The Committee feels that music is nice in the background, but they feel it has no value in the foreground. The Committee cites opinion surveys and popular press that prove music is meaningless in economic development. Our hypothetical music director knows she can show them this is wrong, but The Committee has no time to listen. The Committee tests/surveys the students ages 4-14, and the students agree, music is fun but useless. Our hypothetical music director is angry, and rightfully so. The Committee knows nothing about the value of music, and has devalued, disregard, disrespected and demoralized her professional wisdom. They ignored her. They will not listen. They will not grant her an opportunity to speak. They will not even tell her their names so that she might try to speak with them logically. Hypothetically, this same conscientious director of music made her free choice to wear a mask at work. She dutifully made her free choice to receive her two Covid shots. She painstakingly washes her hands until she has completely recited one Our Father and One Glory Be. She meticulously adheres to social distancing guidelines. This petition is being ignored by the faceless masking authority but this petition website is inviting people across the country to support our cause and demand actions based upon reason and wisdom not emotions.

We can accompany our children into school maskless until the authority faces us with the scientific justification, which DOES NOT EXIST, their version of contract tracing is ludicrous. Show your face.

Organize like minded parents to send our children to school maskless. Defy quarantine. You cannot apply contact tracing to children with an asymptomatic virus that is carried by household pets. The animal reservoirs of Covid make contact tracing ridiculously futile and unfairly oppressive!

Send you children to school maskless with a parent or grand parent until this Covid Committee explains itself in public!

Who is on this committee? What are their quantifiable scientific objectives? How are they measuring their results? What credentials do they possess to throw our children out of school for weeks with no evidence to support their feelings that contact tracing a virus with animal reservoirs could ever possibly work? Hysteria is beating logic.

St. Charles Borromeo prompted Church reform and Catholic education with accountability. Yes prayers from St. Charles might stir us to ask the tough questions and face the reality that we have let someone take away our parental choice to inflict their unexplained unscientific will upon children. The post traumatic stress groups of the future will be populated by the children we terrorized with masks, shots, and illness few of them ever saw but imagined might kill them.

I believe the parents are best-suited to make these sorts of decisions for their children. I apologize if I have this wrong, but are these policies currently being established by an appointed committee with unknown qualifications?

Worthless as a vaccine yes. Especially if you do not take a stand. The unintended consequences of mRNA "vaccine" are very valuable as a cost center stimulus. Blunt truth. Politicians and medicine are making money on Covid, we are the losers. The South Bend Clinic, Beacon, and St. Joseph Physician Network are not losing money. They have created a scarcity, by mandating their employees get vaccinated lowering the operation expenses. They create the illusion of a crisis of beds and ventilators yet they have empty beds due to no staff due to their unnecessary mandates. The Accountable Care Cost Centers raise their income through point and click do not touch the patient telemedicine. Even if not telemedicine and you are in a physician's office there is no touch. Every physician, every pharmacy, is a cost center, not patient centered, despite the rhetoric. Pharmacies and Physician cost centers are not paid by individual visits they are paid in aggregate, the combined encounters of the organization is weighed, not the specific care delivered to an individual patient. The elite patient gets the time and attention, and is an expense "outlier." The expense of the elite patient disappears in the aggregate created by the regular patient who gets point and click care. I’m a mother of a child attending Catholic school in the greater Chicago area and I’m encouraged to see St. Pius X parents asking appropriate questions and assuming their parental rights and responsibilities. Catholic families are being hurt each time parental authority is taken away.

Masks do not filter out the virus. They hide faces and emotions.
