I saw you at Dr. Dan Stock's presentation last Friday. The final question asked of Dr. Stock was "What are we, who know masking is useless and vaccinations hazardous to the reproductive health of young girls, doing wrong? What are we doing that is not right?" Your example is clear. Both Pro-Mask Anti-Parental Choice, and Pro-Parental Choice and Anti-Mask are blessed. Both sides are taking this seriously. Exercising freedom of speech is not free of messy critical conversations, research, and listening to the other-side with a willingness to see when I might have been wrong. Thank you for your blessing.

Thank you for the resource.
You are right, removing parental choice is not Catholic. Attaching and diminishing family authority and responsibility, is not Catholic.

The urgency to remove parental choice on masking our children was well-intended hysterical nonsense.
Aerosolized Viral Clouds like Covid-19 remain in the air for days unless they are diluted by ventilation or destroyed by ionization.
Damp germ infested improperly worn cloth masks do not stop aerosolized respiratory viruses, and pose a multitude of threats to children both medical and psychological.
Little Children are hiding behind masks and being socialized to be afraid of fresh air without a mask.
You see an entire family maskless at Mass on Sunday and the little ones wearing sheepishly wearing a mask.
Our children should urgently get proper ventilation in their classroom and be freed from mitigation measures that have failed.
Children can continues to wash their hands and faces, refrain from eating or drinking another classmate's food, and get proper meals and sleep.
Urgently move to do something that works and urgently return choice to parents.

Our kids go to Edwardsburg and they are mask Optional and everything has been perfectly fine this year. No uptick in COIVD. It has been great.

The adults in this scenario got to grow up without needing to wear a mask. So, please stop being selfish adults and let the kids live free of masks if they so choose.

The decision of St. Pius X School to require masks to follow PHM school district requirements for an apparent need for consistency, adversely impacts my home schooled children as they participate in activities such as Youth Group.

I don’t think kids should be forced to wear masks in school. Especially kids who are vaccinated or have natural immunity from having recovered from COVID.

1deleteI agree and am thankful for all the hard work the St. Pius Team has done and struggles they've endured in the ever changing landscape. I am thankful for all their hard work and efforts. As a new doctor (dentist) consultant to the COVID Committee I am sharing the science and data I have personally reviewed in the realms of masks and parental choice to you all below. Stephen Petty, industrial engineer and hygienist explains particle size and how masks actually work and why they don't help in this situation now that we know it's aerosols not droplets like previously thought. I would encourage people in favor of masks and not in favor review this information to be properly informed. It is the most concise explanation I've seen. I am always eager to read any information that can increase my knowledge base to help make the best decision for our children and community. I'd be happy to review any information sent my way.

I used to be a member of St Pius Catholic Church, but have since moved. I think it's unbelievable sad St Pius School, as well as all catholic schools put politics ahead of our liberties and freedoms regarding forcing our kids to wear masks! They DO NOT work and are harming kids in the process! Please stop this insanity and give our kids the freedom to be kids again!!!

Masks do not work- here is a study from March-December 2020 from the all-knowing, all-powerful CDC. It is also a breach to the first amendment of the constitution to mandate them. So, in conclusion, they are inefficient to wear and illegal to require, yet here we are. Fed up parents that are ready to stand up for their kids. I love it. Let’s go

The science shows masks do not work; they don’t prevent transmission, and they actually cause negative health conditions. The CDC put the study from March 2020-December 2020 of the efficacy of masks, and concluded they have up to a max of 1.8% success rate. This is science, and the definitively shows that they do not work. Science is what we should be following, not opinion. Mandating then is also a breach of the first amendment to the constitution. They don’t work, and it is illegal to require them, so it blows my mind the stance that Pius has had to this point. We should not have to fight for our own God-given rights at a private God-based school in my humble opinion; yet here we are. This is asinine and insane. Here is one of many sources I would love to contribute to the decision-making committee.
