I am sighing this petition for my son as he should have an option to wear a mask or not at my son hates wearing them as he feels suffocated it’s not ok

I am a grandmother of Aniston and Luke Levesque and I want to sign this petition!! If I am not allowed then throw it out but I think it is optional for the parents to decide!!

Masks should absolutely be at the parents discretion. This summer proved that masks and social distancing do nothing. Majority of adults and kids have done neither (mask, distancing) with no rise in cases other than the usual Flu and cold, that are now rebranded cv-19.

This from an article on the CDC's website: "Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids (36). There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza." https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/19-0994_article
