Opt-Out Provision for RU-Pass

People who live on campus or close to campus will hardly use this. It's unfair to those who also have to pay for other transit on top of a pass they won't use.

This issue needs to dealt with before it is too late

I support Res and Go Transport users.

i commute from Ajax and i take the go train to get to school, not the ttc so this RU-pass has no value to me and i do not want to have to pay for something i do not and will not need.

Don't wanna pay for my walk to and from school :(

Already paying for GO from Newmarket, I don't use the TTC

There is no need for me to pay for this when I pay to live on residence instead of commuting.

Personally I benefit from this because I use the TTC, but I agree that it's no use to those who don't. They should be able to opt out.

I think it's unfair to have no opt out for people that don't really need to use a metro pass

I hope this petition will be valuable to at least give an opt-out option to students who don't need it. I personally voted no even though it benefits me. This is the worst deal in the history of deals ! Worse than NAFTA I would say lol

I personally benefit from the RU Pass as I only commute using TTC however it is not fair at all to make every single student pay when not everyone needs the TTC whether it be because they live on campus or they only commute using GO. A better opt out option should be available to students.

I personally voted yes at the referundum but I do think it's unfair to force people who don't want the RU pass pay among other things, so I thought why not :)
