I have been a resident Of south fulton for over ten years this is nonsense. I do not agree this !! I understand getting a permit for new construction or major construction, But having to get a permit and inspection to do maintenance and upgrades to the house/garage/portable buildings etc that's ridiculous.

I moved here from a place that was just like this. People with money telling the people without what they can or can't do.

Whoever proposed this idea needs to be removed from their position. We don't need employees with this kind of mentality.

You all trying to be like Illinois now! Our property we should not have to have a building permit for anything. I sign this because I’m dead set against this!

This home is keeping up with its own repairs, a code enforcer is not necessary for this home to met this standard

I believe this is further bleeding the small city residents who are mostly on a low and limited budget. I believe the city needs to draw more businesses to increase their revenue and give the residents job opportunities as well as well as more commerce. Requiring residents in a small town to go through big city hoops is just another way to reach into their already strained financial conditions.

Y’all let Billy Farley stay in a house after we bought it from him for a year. We had to pay extra taxes because we couldn’t tear the house down , the judge kept making us let him stay there. FOR A YEAR!!!! Ever since we have this new city manager things have gotten worse. You closed our dump. You stopped picking up curbside. You’re stifling the pitiful small amount of progress the poor people are making.

How is it that we made it all these years without the input from someone that doesn’t even live here? The changes that have been made in our town since they elected her city manager have caused a lot of hardships on a lot of people. This is a small town and it’s going to get even smaller the longer she stays in office.

As a citizen of South Fulton for nearly 10 years. Our home was built in 1911. We have been financially sinking every dollar we have into bettering our street (church) street. Permits would take away valuable funds from completing projects that we have had planned way before any pubic official in South Fulton has been here. It is our right to do with our property as we see fit. The people making these decisions on behalf of South Fulton residents do no live inside South Fulton, or came here recently, they’re trying to change the way we do things, and we don’t like it. Of appreciate it.
