Thank you everyone for taking the time to sign the petition.
Please also make every effort to come to the Planning Commission meeting at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow at City Hall (117 West Duval St.) and voice your opposition in person. It's much harder to ignore people when they're standing in front of you and looking at you eye-to-eye.

I request the council to deny the increase in height for this property on the corner of Gate Pkwy and Burnt Mill Rd. This will also reduce the privacy for many homeowners in the James Island Community!! Thanks

This would be extremly unfair to the homeowers who bought houses adjacent to this site. They bought with the understanding that that property had height limits.

We oppose the height restriction change due to increased traffic and other reasons already mentioned.

Allowing a variance to accommodate a six story office structure will increase unnecessarily traffic in this area resulting in both the deterioration of the human scale of the neighborhood but result is large increases in expenses to reengineer and reconstruct the road ways to accommodate the increase in traffic reducing the quality of life of the neighborhood, increasing pollution, and making this area a dangerous place for the many cyclists who uses these roads for recreation and commuting to work,

More than three stories will dramatically change the character of this neighborhood and require massive costs on a local and state level to reengineer and reconstruct the roadway to accommodate the additional traffic. It will also negatively impact the local environment which includes numerous cyclists who enjoy this area for riding and commuting.

There is no reason to change zoning laws that are in place too protect the integrity of our community. More office space and job will not offset the reduction in property values in a mostly residential neighborhood.

Please keep the height limit to only 30 feet to keep the area aesthetically pleasing.

OPPOSED!!!! Six-stories is unreasonable. 1-3 stories should be the maximum height.

The height should not override above one (1) story.
