The Mana whenua in Te Horo is Te Orewai not Ngati Whatua and it is Te Orewai that will administer our water ways.

The process needs to be reviewed for accuracy, fairness and equity. This appears to be a modern day raid on the mana of the haukainga.

I do not support the Ngati Whatua claim masoving forward as my hapu (Ngati Hau) is directly affected and have not been involved with any part of this while process and we are tangatawhenua of this rohe. This will remove my Rangitiratanga and I strongly oppose this mandate in its entirety.

I oppose the ngatiwhatua AIP and consider this a destructive mechanism to further alienate hapu rangatiratanga and the management of our Te Orewai resources.

I am an uri of Ngāti Hine.
I fundamentally oppose these negotiations progressing any further as the Rūnanga and the Crown has not demonstrated or articulated how - hapū, marae and WAI claimants have consented to being included in these negotiations nor how their voice and priorities are included as the process progresses. HALT negotiations now!
