Millan Ruka - representing for Te Uriroroi, Te Parawhau, Te Mahurehure ki Whatitiri, Maungarongo Marae - Wai 2058. We have already objected to Minister Little on the Ngati Whatua AIP. We reaffirm our objection on this petition and further state - * Our hapu have not been in prior consultation with Ngati Whatua on this AIP. * The boundary map provided by Ngati Whatua is inaccurate and shows that (in our opinion) it extends far past the recognized borders of 1835 and 1840 and extends far into Ngapuhi Mana Whenua by approx 47 klm further up the West Coast and some 28 klm up the East Coast.

I am an uri of Ngāti Hine and of other affected hapū of the Ngāti Whātua settlement. I fundamentally oppose these negotiations progressing any further as the Rūnanga and the Crown has not demonstrated or articulated how - hapū, marae and WAI claimants have consented to being included in these negotiations nor how their voice and priorities are included as the process progresses. HALT negotiations now.
