The korero in 'Te Whare Tapu O Ngapuhi' (the Sacred house of Ngapuhi) defines the boundaries of Ngapuhi.

Ngati Whatua are clearly stealing land that has never been theirs with this mandate. I l oppose this and any other attempt to encroach on NgaPuhi historical tribal lands.

The Crown are breaching existing settlement legislation and are not upholding the treaty obligations it has to a recognised partner. (Opening the Crown up for future claims) Ngati Whatua Runanga are breaching their terms made in a documented agreement with my Iwi by proceeding with this claim. Te Arawhiti and Crown negotiators are not fulfilling their obligations of researching first which is why this negotiation is not their only settlement in NZ at the moment where they are trying to negotiate already settled claimants whenua. I do not support the AIP nor recognise an Iwi who is 5 generations YOUNGER than mine who have my Iwi documented on websites and paperwork claiming that we are their HAPU!!! Their negotiations mandate paper is as worthless as their "word". NWR have been told to remove our marae from their documents for years and still they claim we are their hapu. We are not Ngati Whatua we are Te Roroa! I do not give NWR permission to use my Tupuna (5 generations older than theirs) to make any claim or exercise any authority over our whenua, oour coastline, our korero, or any of our taonga.
