Just in time for the Johnston/Invenergy Power Plant water deal. This is shameful.

Roughly one century has passed since the Town of Scituate was bullied into the surrender of land , and now the thieves are back with new ways to rob the town and its people of what wasn't taken the first time. Mr. Quattrocchi - please oppose this measure with vigor.

Scituate should take the reservoir back, and make the rest of the state pay the town for the water. If everyone in RI who uses Scituate water pays even only $1 a month, our town can have the best educational and medical facilities in the state.

It's time to be fair and accountable to the town that houses the water the state depends on. Scituate needs to be included in all decisions pertaining to the reservoir and legislation, as well as boards that govern it.

In fact, as the host community of the reservoir, the Town of Scituate should probably have multiple representatives on the board. The PWSB should be ashamed and actually do something for the town like maybe making a generous donation to the schools/fields at the high school.

If Scituate really cared about its residents they would be charging Prov. Water much more in taxes

If you own the land, then you pay the property tax just like every other landowner-whether private individual or not.

We should be getting double what we get from them as the property is very prime for development and worth Billions of Doallrs

We, the taxpayers of Scituate, have made more than our fair share of sacrifices for the Providence Reservoir over the decades, including the farce of all the Reservoir land being declared "Forest Land" so that the taxes the City of Providence paid Scituate were reduced to the minimum. I'm tired of Scituate being used by the City of Providence to bail them out & thereby be forced to help them with their tax problems & costs at the expense of the Scituate residents whom the government of Providence does not represent. It all amounts to TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION! And this bill just piles more of that on the already burdened Scituate residents! With all the recent strong arming by the Providence Water Supply Board & the "Forest Land", maybe it's time for Scituate to consider rewriting our minimum lot sizes to allow more development in town to increase our tax base in what remains of the town that isn't owned by the City of Providence & PWSB. With the loss of the tax revenue the "Forest Land" farce caused & now this proposed total removal of the 40% of the town owned by Providence from the tax books all together, Scituate will become a place only those elite in the upper brackets of income will be able to afford to live. The average income families are rapidly being priced out of Scituate.

The people of Scituate do their part to protect the watershed that provides 600 thousand+ residents of RI with the some of the highest quality drinking water in the United States. The water which I speak is not provided free of charge to customers. Scituate should continue to be compensated for the the reservoir and the protective land that surrounds it and should absolutely have representation on all decisions regarding it.

The town MUST have representation on this board!

This country was founded on taxation without represention. This bill will do about the same. What will with the reservoir and the surrounding land would not be fully represented without North Scituate being on the board. If everyone else who has property pays taxes then the PWSB should also pay taxes.

No taxes ! No Fire protection ! Let them out there own fires out!

I sign with concern that the Town does not have a seat on the proposed Board of Directors, and that the bill will have the effect of significantly increasing the tax burden on the residents of Scituate.

We should always have a representative for items that affect us so seriously.
